4 Day Toubkal & Zagora Tour

We at Toubkal Experience organises Atlas trekking and Toubkal Treks. After breakfast at the hotel , our driver will pick you in Marrakech and we travel towards High Atlas mountains. We reach Imlil (1740 m), a small Berber village located at 1740m from where our trek starts. We meet our muleteers who will deal with our luggage, meals and all other equipments. An experienced mountain guide will lead us through the Berber villages following a mule track. We hike up to the shrine Sidi Chamhrouch (2500 m) where we will have picnic lunch prepared by our cook.

We then continue towards the base camp (3200 m), upon arrival we enjoy the scenic Atlas Mountain surrounded the base-camp. We spent the night in the Toubkal base camp or on the tents in summer time.

The next day our 4 days Toubkal and Zagora desert tour continues and we wake up early for breakfast , then we will walk uphill for 3-4 hours, and you will have amazing view of all the High Atlas mountains, local valleys and best Berber villages. When attain the summit, you will have a 45 minutes break to take pictures and enjoy the magnificent view from the top. Afterwards we return back to the hut, and after lunch we tart descend back towards Imlil. Then from Imlil we transfer you to Marrakech.

Today we pick you up from your Hotel/Riad and we drive through the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2260 m , you will explore the High Atlas Mountains passing by Berber villages. We reach Ouarzazate for lunch, we visit Altas studios and the Taourirt Kasbah. We continue through the Draa Valley, it is considered as the largest palm-trees valley in Morocco. We arrive to Zagora before sunset and we take camel ride for an hour through the Sahara desert. We reach desert camp / bivouac for dinner, experience Berber music in Sahara.

After watching the sunrise we ride camels back to Zagora and after breakfast we travel via Draa valley to Ouarzazate and we explore nearby Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, in guided excursion. After having lunch we will continue via the High Atlas Mountains and many Berber villages to Marrakech. End of the tour.
