We will take you up from your hotel or Riad in Marrakech after breakfast. Then drive to Dades Valley through Tizi n Tichka, which crosses the high Atlas highlands. The traditional Berber communities in the High Atlas. Arriving at the peaceful city of Ouarzazate. Then go to the film studios and the Kasbah Taourirt. Traveling to Dades Gorges via Skoura and Roses Valley, and spending the night in a typical Berber Kasbah in Dades Gorges.

After breakfast, we begin a new day in the Dades Valley, where we enjoy the scenery before beginning the journey to Merzouga by passing the Bomalne Dades, then to Tinghir, where we explore the Todra Gorges. We'll continue on the route to Merzouga, passing via Tinjdad, Jorf, and Erfoud, feeling the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. We continue on to Merzouga, where we ride camels on the golden beaches and see the spectacular sunset. Overnight and supper in a desert hotel.

Today we will tour the desert region and the marvels of the Erg-Chebbi sand dunes. We will take a tour across the desert dunes, where we will be able to view the nomads' way of life and the remarkable contrasts of the desert. We'll go to Khamlia, the slave hamlet, to witness the Gnawa musicians. We'll go on to Rissani, the historic capital, to see the market, the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum, and have lunch with berber pizza. We will ride camels in the afternoon to witness the sunset over the dunes and spend the night in a Berber tent. We will have a traditional meal with tagine, sweet mint tea, and traditional Berber music while gazing at the sky and the crescent moon in the gorgeous Sahara desert. In Merzouga, stay in a Berber tent.

After comfortable night in camp, we will leave the rocky nature and vistas behind and return to the middle Atlas, crossing the Tizi n'Talghamt mountain pass, Morocco's second largest pass, from whence you will explore the city of "Midelt," the agricultural hinterland. Passing through Ziz Valley and Errachidia. Crossing the lovely Azrou Cedar trees and Morocco's Switzerland, the distinctive Ifrane. Arriving in Fes, the western Mecca and cultural centre of the nation, where you will stay in a hotel in the historic medina.

You will be given a guided tour of the oldest imperial city in the morning. In 808 it was established as the first governmental, ecclesiastical, and cultural capital. We begin our tour by entering the Royal Palace through the Golden Doors. Later, from a high vantage point, we shall see the spectacular and historic medina's wall. After that, your guide will take you on foot to experience the city's hundreds of sensations and to see the city's attractions and monuments. We'll visit mosques, medersas, and religious sites until we reach the tanners' neighborhood. We will have some free time for lunch (not included), and then we will proceed to the craftsmen' area to see how they work and how they preserve the art and style of Andalusia to this day, earning Fes the well-deserved title of the city of artisans. By the afternoon, you will have the option of returning to your lodging or spending extra time exploring the historic medina.

After breakfast, go for Meknes early in the morning. The tour starts with a visit to the ramparts, which include the majestic 17th century gates Bab Mansour and Bab Khemis. We continue our exploration of the city by visiting the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, which was for a long time the only mosque that non-Muslims could visit in Morocco until the arrival of Hassan Mosque 2. We'll proceed to the ancient Roman ruin Volubilis, where we'll spend some time visiting the 2000-year-old remains and getting a sense of life during the Roman Empire. After the visit, we will travel to Rabat, Morocco's capital, where we will have a short guided tour and then visit the Kasbah Oudayas, which was built in the eleventh century by a fearsome tribe of predators.
