7 Day Around Morocco Tour

Marrakech is framed by the snowcapped High Atlas Mountains. This southern city contains fortune tellers, snake tamers, towers, tombs, and gardens. Your Marrakech trip includes the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian Tombs, the Bahia Palace, and the vibrant Djena El Fna square. Day at leisure, followed by dinner and hotel stay. Optional dinner at "Fantasia Chez Ali"

After breakfast, we drive for Casablanca, the country's "industrial and financial center," for a panoramic tour of the city, with the highlight being the Great Hassan II Mosque, a modern Moroccan architectural marvel. In the afternoon, you will continue on to Rabat, where you will be met and transferred to your accommodation.

After breakfast, drive to Fes over the Middle Atlas mountains, stopping at Meknes and Volubilis for city tours of Moulay Ismail's stables and a guided tour of Volubilis' historic ruins. Continue on to Fes for supper and a night's lodging.

After breakfast, we take a guided city tour to Fes, Morocco's most ancient imperial city. Take in the Royal Palace, the Christian and Jewish neighborhoods, and the Medina's twisting lanes (Old City). Spend the afternoon doing anything you want. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel in the evening - dinner and show

After breakfast, head south across the Middle Atlas. Observe cedar forests and monkeys at Ifrane before traveling to Azrou. In Midelt, you'll have lunch before traveling to Merzouga for a sunset camel ride and desert camp with toilets and showers. Desert camp overnight.

Get up early to see the dawn close behind the Algerian border, roughly 50 kilometers from Merzouga. We return to the hotel via camel. You'll traverse the difficult Road of a Thousand Kasbahs, then after lunch, we'll hike through Todgha Gorge and discover the Dades Valley. Overnight stay at a local riad, including supper.

After breakfast, we'll hike in the gorge before exploring the nomad caves. El Kelaa Magona, the Valley of the Roses, and Skoura oasis lead to Ouarzazate. We'll visit Ait Benhaddou after the city tour. We'll continue to Telouet and the Kasbah el Glaoui. Before descending Tizi-n-Tichka to Marrakech, we'll have lunch at Telouet.
