7 Day Atlas Mountains Trek

We at Toubkal Experience organises popular Atlas treks in Morocco. We start from your hotel in Marrakech, then we drive via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass to reach town of Ouarzazate where you visit Atlas studios. Then after lunch we visit Tagdilt (1670m). Overnight in a Berber house (called gite) at the base of the famous Sahgro massif. Travel with Toubkal Experience.

Today after breakfast you meet our experienced mule team and after we load the mules we start the easy walking trek of a total 5 hours walk. We reach the foothills of Jebel Sahgro as the highlight. We cross the plateau , we descend into a steep valley. Overnight in camp.

7 Day Atlas Mountains Trekking Tour continues with 4 hours walking, and we also climb over the Kouaouch Pass (at 2500 m). Then we descend through spectacular cliffs , waterfalls to reach the Igli (at 2200 m). Overnight in a local Berber house (called gite).

Enjoy about 5 to 6 hours of walking today , we enjoy amazing views across the Atlas area. You follow a valley to reach the Berber village of Boulouze. Following the river, we reach the camp at the foot of Bab n’Ali. Overnight with dinner.

Today we set off crossing the Bab n’Ali before descending through a Gorges and rock formations. Through the village of Assaka (at 1800 m) we continue to Ighazoune n’Oumlas where we camp by the river Taoudachte - a total of 5 hours walking.

Today after breakfast our 7 Day Atlas Mountains Trekking Tour continues and we walk through several typical Berber villages. You arrive near Nkob where we stay in a Berber house (local gite) - 5 hours of walking in total.

Driving from Nkob through the date palms of the Draa Valley , we enjoy the Tinifift Pass, after having lunch in Ouarzarte we transfer you to Marrakech. At the end of trek we transfer you to your hotel or riad. Here our Atlas hike finishes. (We offer accommodation of your choice for Atlas treks : standard or luxury).
