Itinerary

Toubkal Treks are organized by Toubkal Experience. You will be picked up from your hotel in Marrakech, transported to Imlil Valley, and then commence on your hiking trip. After being met by a member of the local team, you will begin your hike through the At Mizane valley, towards Aremd, and then on to the Sidi Chamarouch sanctuary and the adjacent waterfall. Continue on tough paths to the Toubkal base camp, where you will spend the night. (about 4-5 hours of walking).

The next morning, get an early start to climb the peak of Jbel Toubkal, which is the highest point in North Africa. To get to the opposite side, cross the streams and maneuver your way across the difficult landscape. The plateau provides breathtaking views over the surrounding area, including the plain of Marrakech and the High Atlas mountains in the north, and the Anti-Atlas and Sahara deserts in the south. Take a pause from your travels to enjoy these breathtaking views. After reaching the summit, continue the gradual descend to the mountain's base and the village of Imlil before continuing on to Marrakech. Walking time: 10 to 12 hours, plus 1 hour and 30 minutes driving time.
