DAY 1: TANGIER - TETOUAN - CHEFCHAOUEN MEDINA

Today, we'll drive through the Rif Mountains and Tetouan City, taking in the scenery until we arrive at Chefchaouan, one of the most beautiful settlements at the foot of the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen medina is a Spanish-style plaza surrounded by many eccentric arts and crafts boutiques, roof-top restaurants, and cafés where you may spend the night relaxing and admiring the beauty of nature.

DAY 2: CHEFCHAOUEN - UNESCO VOLUBILIS - MEKNES - FES

After a delicious breakfast at the riad, our 8-day Desert tour from Tangier to Marrakech departs for Volubilis, passing through Ouazan and other Rif settlements. In Volubilis, we will see the Roman ruins and learn about Moroccan history. Then we'll drive to Meknes (the 17th-century heritage city), where we'll stop for lunch and explore the historical walls of the medina, bab el Mansour, and the Moulay Ismail shrine. DAY 3: FES MEDINA & CITY GUIDED TOUR

Today we will start visiting the oldest city in Morocco, wandering through its lanes and little streets. Our tour begins with a visit to the Royal Palace entrance, the Jewish headquarters, and the earliest Mellah ever erected in Morocco, which was established in the 16th century. We will make certain that you visit all cultural and historical landmarks, including the famed Al Qaraouine University, the region's oldest, the Tanneries, the Attarine museum, and the Moulay Idriss tomb. After lunch, you will tour a tile cooperative and then enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of Fes' Medina.

DAY 4: FES - AZROU CEDAR FOREST - MIDELT - ERFOUD - DESERT IN MERZOUGA

We will go to Merzouga via Errachidia and Erfoud after breakfast in your accommodation. You will pass across the breathtaking Tiz Ntalghamt pass and the Ziz Gorge. As you reach the city of Errachidia, you'll observe how the terrain transforms to offer clues of the desert; here, you'll have lunch and experience the Berber hospitality. Following that, we'll continue via Ziz Valley, pausing for panoramic vistas along the route to Erfoud (renowned for its fossils) and Rissani. When we arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon, you will be greeted with a drink of mint tea, overnight in desert hotel with dinner.

DAY 5: SAHARA DESERT EXCURSION IN MERZOUGA

Today after breakfast, we'll begin our exploration of the area by visiting a community of black people originating from Mali to see their music and way of life. After that, we'll drive to Miffis Mines to see how they function before heading beyond the Dunes in a complete desert with stunning views to sit for a warm cup of tea with the local Bedouins. After a cup of tea, your local guides will show you how to ride and disembark your camels, as well as other useful camel-related safety recommendations, before you begin exploring the mystical Erg-Chebbi sand-sea. DAY 6: MERZOUGA - TODGHA GORGES - DADES VALLEY

DAY 7: DADES VALLEY - OUARZAZATE - AIT BEN HADDOU KASBAH - MARRAKECH

After breakfast, you will journey through the Dades Valley to Kalaa M'gouna and Ouarzazate. This is the path of the thousand kasbahs across Dades Valley. We will visit the cinema city of Ouarzazate as well as Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, Morocco's biggest Kasbah, constructed by T-Hami El Glaoui (the UNESCO heritage site). Then, we'll travel through the High Atlas mountains, stopping to admire the scenery and charming Berber towns along the route until we arrive in Marrakech, where we'll spend the night in a local hotel.

DAY 8: MARRAKECH SIGHTSEEING MEDINA TOUR - END OF THE TOUR

Continuing our 8-day Tangier desert tour, we will begin experiencing Marrakech, Morocco's "red city." We will make certain that you visit the most important historical and cultural places. The Majorelle Gardens, the Koutoubia Tower, the Saadian tombs, and the Bahia Palace are all part of this. After lunch at a local restaurant near the renowned plaza, you'll go through the souks, where you may buy gifts and see the craftsmanship of handicrafts.
